TOWN LANDS TRUST.

There was no quorum at the Mastertou Town Lands Trust adjourned meeting last night. Mr Geo, Beetham, however, was present, as previously arranged, and discussed the provisions of the Bill with the two trustees who were there, Messrs Perry and Hare. A deputation consisting ofllessrsEenall, Hogg, and Blinldiorne interviewed the Trust regarding the holding of a public meeting, Considerable discussion ensued regarding the aflairs of the Trust, and this morning as the outcome, it wos decided to hold a public meeting at the close of next Friday's annual meeting for, the purpose of electing a committee, to consider, in conjunction with Mr G. Beetham, M.H.8., the provisions of the contemplated Act.
