Control of Railways,
Sydney, Bth February. The Railways Management Bill, which provides that all constructed railways in the colony shall be placed under the control of a Board of Commissioners, was read a third -time in the Houso this evening.
Light Railways Only, Sydney, 9th February. In future the Government intend to construct light railways only.
Improved Tramways,
Sydney, 9th February. Five offers have been received for the control of the tram system in this city, two being for an electric system, From 5 to 7 per cent, on the takings was offered .as consideration for the privilege.
