Messrs Freeman R, Jackson and Co report a further drop in fat stock at their Jolmsonville sale, and that cattle failed to maintain last sale's quotations. Sheep were also at lower values. Lambs sold fairly well, and competition for pigs -was good throughout the sale. Cattle: Prices ranged for bullocks from £5 to £6, averaging £5 1157d,£5 5s Bd, and £5 6s 2d. One pen of very small bullocks made £4l2s 6d. Beef per lOOlbs made 13s tol3s6d. Sheep: Wethers 7s lid to 8s 9d, ewes 6s to 7s 3d, inferior lots os 8d to 5s 9d, fat lambs 6s to 6s lid, mutton from 1-Jd to l|d per lb. Pigs; Good sized pigs from 21s to 245, porkers 14s to 18s, small pigs 6s 6d to 10s.
