■ (To the jEditor.) Sm.—l notice in your columns that a petition is being signed asking the Legislature not to pass " The Masterton Town Lands Bill." There never was any chance of passing tho measure this sesson. lam merely dealing with the question, so that the Bill may be circulated among those interested, so that next session we may deal with the matter in a comprehensive manner, with a full knowledge of all attendant circumstances.
