ELECTIONS. During the day very few ratepayers came to the poll, but the last hour brought the number up to 50, the .result being as follows:—William Je&sen, 42; H, W. Jackson, 39 j John Bannister, 38; Henry Aulin, 14; Nicoljii Jensen, 6. The result of the I

poll was received with applause, and calls for the successful candidates were made. .
