Thi first practice of the Wairmpn Uepresejit&tive teams takos place at'Carterton to-morroiw afternoon when tho first fifteen will play the next eighteen. It is to bo hoped that all those seleoted will roll up, so that the Match Committeo will havp .the opportunity of judging the merits of the representatives of each club. The' final tie for the junior cup will be played to-morrow afternoon on the Masterton Olub ground between the Masterton and Te Ore Ore teams. It will be remembered that the Te Or# Ore team scored an easy win over the Carterton team, and the Mastorton men, aftor a close fight, came off best in the Grcytown match, Tho contest is expected to be a very oloso ono, eaeli side boing confident of victory, The work of boarding in 6he now ground of the Mastorton Club is being pushed on with, md it is the intention o°f making a small at the gate tomorrow afternoon.
A match will be played at Greytown to-morrow between the second fifteenth of the Stars and the Greytown Wanderers. The following will represent the Stars Hill, Holmwood, T. Thompson, F. Gardner (capt.) Baiilie, A. Campbell, BerinQtt, Caaelberg, H. Campbell, F. Welch, W. Welch, Collier, A, Gardner, H. Ewington and Poulson. Emergencies —A Wolch, Yates, and Broom. Th® team will leave Mi' Neil's staples at one o'clock sharp. A football match has been arranged between the Fire Brigades and the Rifle Volunteers of Mastorton, to corns off on Wednesday next, For the formor side fifteen men will be pioked from the following list;—J, Muir, H, Hounslow, B.
