FATAL ACCIDENT.

Gisborne, thiß day,
A man named J. Calvey died from injuries supposed to have been received while riding on a horse and leading another, . Ho was evidently dragged off his horse by the one he was leading into the river, and had been stepped on by one of tho animals.
