Wellington, this day, At a meeting of the Government Insurance Association a resolution was carried to hand over the management from the control of policy holders to the Government. All nominated and elected membets voted for it except 6. V, Shannon who has tendered his resignation in ; consequence. The motion was proposed to revoke Mr Driver's, appointment, and it will be discussed next Wednesday. The proceedings are said to have been of a lively nature.
