We m glad to notice tbah the Masterton Town Lands Trust have, after giving the" appeal lor help" recently made by the Park Trustees a full and fair consideration, decided to grant it. There can be no doubt that the Masterton Park is growing in public favor. Anyone who was present within its limits-oil Sunday afternoon last, when the band was playing, must have ob
served that it vra not only a people's park, but that the pimple' were making free use of it. We trust year by year to see this convenient Park reserve grow more beautiful and attract larger numbers of visitors, We do not think the assistance accorded by the Town Lands Trust will be grudged by the public of Masterton, or that it will in any sense ot the term prove an unprofitable outlay.
