The OxEord atid Cambridge boat race was rowed to-day, and, after a hard struggle, resulted in favor of Cambridge by a quarter length. 4th. The English and Austrian squadrons now stationed at Suda Bay, Crete, are being reinforced with the possibility of coercion being used against Greece. 3rd. There is no improvement in the wool market, 10,000 bales were catalogued to day. The demand is dull and heavy, Up to the preseut 260,000 bales have arrived. , London, April 2. The total quantity of wheat afloat for the United Kingdom is 1,660,000 quarters, 40,000 less than last week. The tillow market is unchanged. The stock at present held in London amounts to 34,000 casks, At to-day's wool sale 11,300 bales were offered, the market remaining quiet, The next sale commences on the 16th inst., the quantity to be offered being limited to 350,000 bales. No change is reported m frozon meat; prime New Zealand mutton is still bning quoted from s|d to 5Jd.
