BeforeH. A. Stratford, Esq., R.M Paraon Pahoro v,H. Udy.-Claim £5,being balance due to plaintiff as change of a cheque. Mr Sandilands for plaintiff, Mr Gray for defendant who admitted the debt, but put in a set off for £7 3s 6d. After hearing tho case, which occupied the Court for more than two hours, the Court gave'judgment for plaintiff for £3 0s 6d, with costs divided. R, Bright vH. Harawira.—Debt £4 19s 6d. Judgment confessed for amount and costs. .
•John Blain vjWilliam Witton.—Claim £l4 Ca (id for services in looking after the racehorse "The Slave." Mr Skipper for plaintiff, Mr Gray for defendant. His Worship said this was a case which ought never to have been brought into Court, and gave judgment for the plaintiff for amount and costs,
J. Blain v T. Kempton, sen.-Claim £2O, value of a valuable dog, poisoned by defendant. Mr Skipper withdrew the case, lie. having found that the wrong person had been summoned. There was no criminal business for hearing by the Court.
