FEATHERSTON TOWN BOARD.
Tho regular monthly moetint; of tho Featherston Town Board was held at the Board's office on Monday June Ist. Present Messrs Reynolds (Chairman) Brunskill, Donald, Cundy and Hodder. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed. The Treasurer's statement showed a balance of £sl Os 9d. The following aacounts were passed for payment: Beel, -* £7 4s 2d j Bloxam, £6lßs; Keys £6 14s i Id; Riddick £l4 The poundkeeper's report was handed in and showed, fees collected, 13s Cd ;dog fees £1 Os; rent £4l6s (id; ranger, Bs. Correspondence was read from .the Registrar General re striking a rate on the capital value, and from the Secretary of the Featherston Town Board replying to the above. The Inspector of Nuisances handed in his report and stated that several complaints had been made tn him, and if the nuisances could not abate he intended taking action in the matter. On the recommendation of the Jjfcrks Committee it was decided that fibers be called for repairs to the water taure in Fox-street. The meeting then terminated.
