Mr Service has received a reply from the Premier of New Zealand to his telegrams regarding the question of annexation. In his reply, Mr Stout declares his entire concurrence in the desire to accelerate the action of the Imperial Government in the matler. Cairo, September 18,'
Nubar Pasha, President of the Egyptian Council of Ministers, has
formally notified the Commission of the Caisse do la Dette Publique, or the International Tribunal of Liquidation, .that in view of the deficit in the Budget the Egyptian Financial Ministry will temporarily collect and receive, instead of the Caisse, the revenue assigned to the service of the public debt, except a3 regards the payment of the October coupons. London, September 19. The captain and mate of the yacht Mignonette have been committed for trial, bail being accepted in each case. The seaman who was rescued with them has been acquitted. Much sympathy is manifestd for the accused by the public.
