We have to apologise for the inferior paper on whioh a portion (about one half) of our present issue la printed. We have, in consequence of our ordinary consignment of printing paper going down in the Lastineham, been obliged to fall back en an inferior article. Early next week wo expect to receive a supply from Sydney, and in the interim Mr Eoydhouse of the Wellington Evening Press has kindly lent ns a few reams'of a good quality of paper, whioh will be available for our issue of tomorrow.

After a rather long interval Mr Millie introduced his six talking figures, amongst whom is one Terence O'Reilly, the irrepressible Irishman, who keeps the andienoe in roars of laughter for the rest of the evening. During the evening there were some capital jokes oracked at the expense of the candidates for municipal honors, which fairly brought the house down, Those of our readers who want to spend a pleasant evening should not miss'the last chance of seeing the cleverest ventliloquist we have heard for some time.

At a meeting of the Wellington and HawEcea Bay members this morning there were nine present, (seven Wellington, and two Hawkea Bay).
