Received March 29,1 p.m, Rumors are current here that Sir William Jervois will receive tho appointment of Governor of Victoria; that Sir William Robinson, Governor of South-Australia, will succeed Sir William Jervois in New Zealand; and that Major-General Scratchley will be appointed to South Australia. : MELBOURNE, March 28. The proprietors of the Melbourne Age have organised another expedition to proceed with the exploration of New Guinea, under the leadership of Captain Strahan.
