, A meetingof Natives to bid favewoll to Tawhiao was held at Mercer yesterday-, Topia, of Wanganui, gave liirn £IOOO, and Poki, of Taranaki, £IOO, towards the expenses of the mission. Most of the Natives have followed Tawhiao's example and wear the blue ribbon. Tho Herald's correspondent writes that gold has been discovered at the Mangapai.
