The rumor lias not, however, received any trustworthy confirmation. The death is announced of General Sir William Fcnwick Williams, G.C.8., formerly Governor of Gibraltar, CAIRO, July 26, The energetic measures which are being carried out for stamping out the cholera epidemic have already hod a good effect, and a decrease in the daily number of deaths is now reported, BRISBANE, /' July 27. A proclamation has been issued today dissolving the Queensland Parliament. The new elections will be held next month, SYDNEY, July 27. New Zealand wheat, per bushel, 4s 6d; New Zealand oats, 2s 6d; maize, 2s 10d; Sugar, (Company's No, 1 pieces), per ton, £35. ADELAIDE, July 27. Wheat is quoted 5s to 5s Id. The market is firm, but there is little business doing. Flour is dull. Town brands are worth £ll 5s to £1110s; country ditto, £lO ss, to £lO 10s.
