(Press Association.) DEATH OF JUDGE MANNING. Auckland, July 27. A private cable message lias been received stating that Judge Manning died oil the 24th instant. The AgentGeneral will send the remains to New Zealand, THE CANTERBURY DIAMONDS, Chkistohorch, July 27. It is rumored that the cablegram re the Alford Forest diamonds says they are cutting diamonds, of no great value. There is a great demand for the Diamond Company's shares, £5 being paid for shares on which only 12s is paid up. Dunedin, Jane 27. The local Refrigerating Company have received a cablegram from London dated 26th, stating that the Fenstanston's cargo of frozen meat netted £12,000, an average of 6|d per lb.
