RIFLE SHOOTING.
Tub Masterton Volunteer Bandsmen fired yesterday for the meerschaum pipo presented by Mr George Dixon. The weather, with the exception of a slight breeze, was favorable for shooting: and tho hatidsmon made very creditable scores. . The prize was won by Drum-major Holland, and was presented by him to tho band to be again Bred for. The ranges were 200, 400, and 500 yards.
