FEATHERSTON JOCKEY CLUB.

A meeting of stewards of the Featherston Jockey Club was held last evening at the Victoria Hotel. Present ! Messrs McKenzie, MoShane, Miller, Brunskill, and the secretary (J. T, Hodder); The minutes of the previous meeting having been read and confirmed, the arrangement of the programme was proceeded with. 1. Hack _Rurdle Race, £10; about 1J miles; minimum weight 10 stone. Over five hurdles, 3ft Gin high. Post entry 15s. Second prize, silver-mounted whip given by Mr McShane. 2. Maiden Plate, of £10; lj miles ; weight, for, age. Entrance, £l. For liorses that have never won an advertised J race of oyer £lO. ( 3. Settlora' Stakes Handicap, of £ls; 1| miles, Nomination 20s, acceptance 4. Hack Eace, of £6; 1 mile and a distance. Minimum weight, 10 stone, Post entry, 10s. ■ 6.
