Stevens, LI 5s per chaiu; Hinan Gully Road, 6 chains and two culverts, R, Butler, LI 10s per chain, including culverts ;■ Carter's Creekßridge, T. Price Girdwood,L9B 15s, subject to Masterton Highway Board providing excess over estimate ■agreed upon. An offer was accepted from A. Moody to fall 20 chains at 3s per chain, he contributing LI towards the cost of the work. In reply to a letter from the Mnstcrton Highway Board, it was resolved that the clerk inform them that this Board has no funds at its disposal to mate tho repairs to the Waingawa Bridge. The clerk was also'directed to answer the circular letters from Mossrs Moore and Sutton, by informing them the Board wnsunablo to furnish any further information than that already in Mr Gayfer's possession. . ■ Tenders having been directed to be called for various works, and the suggestion of the Local Board f s to Armstrong's line/having been left in the (toman's hands to deal wihr, the meeting then adjourned.
