CRICKET.
Tue Greytown and Featherston eK§i tried conclusions on Saturday ir M*s O'Connor's paddock, Greytown. At Ronaldson was elected captain ot tl Greytown team, and Mr J Gundy of the ■Seatherston team. Featherston having won the, toss; elected to goto the wickets, to the bowling of Messrs Cuff and Salmon. Tbe Feathewton men were quickly disposed of for 39 runs, and Greytown then went to the wickets to the bowling of Messrs J. Cundy and Smith. Two wickets had fallen when time was called for luncheon at 1 p.m., which was provided by Host Jones, of the Foresters' Arms, in his best style. After lunch the Greytown. team went in to finish their inniuj/a and put together 57 runs.. The Featherston team then went in for their second inninps, but were disposed of quicker than before for 32 runs; and Greytown then went in and won with six wickets to spare.
