PIGEON SHOOTING MATCH.
A Pigeon shooting match, arising out of the last match, took place yesterday afternoon, in Mr Matthow's paddock Opaki. Consequently the shooting was not firstCMC lUas originally intended to shoot at ten birds each, but the requisite number could not be obtained, so it was reduced to five each. Mr Lister-Kaye pulled it off, with three birds falling to his gun. Mr Tailored shot well, but was unlucky, all his birds being hit hard, but falling oiit of bounds.
