The monthly mewing was held yesterday aiternoon. L* re so tit Messrs Xicui, Walker, Atwill and ILmlie. In the absence of Mr Sinclair, who was too ill to he present, Mr Nicol was voted to the chair. Adder tire minutes had been j read and confirmed, dir Nicol welcomed back dir At will lo bis seat on the Hoard. In replying Mr At will said that he had visited several hospitals durin" his absence ami would aiid would tell them of what he had learned on some other occasion. He thanked the Board Dr its kind welcome. Tho Surgeon’s report showed that 9 males and 12 females weie treated during the month and -I males and 5 females discharged cured, leaving 5 males and 7 females still under treatment. The Matron’s report was read and approved. The visitors for the month reported everything satisfactory. Mr Walker, for the committee appointed to remove outbuildings •and erect otimrs, mporie I that a lender had Icon accepted, hut owing to the absence ot Mi Sinclair, who had all partictilars, he could not go into details.^ Tiie accounts lor ,£d HD Hi were passed. Messrs Atwiil and Hardie wore appointed visitors for tiie incoming month. The yearly balance slice!; showed the receipts to have been AlOGd and expenses £ll9l. The balance sheet was adopted.
