Waihao Downs Estate.

■ ■ 0" NOT TO BE PURCHASED. We have been informed by Mr J. F. Douglas that the land Board have decided not purchase Waihao Downs at present. It will be remembered that some time ago the Commissioners paid a visit to the estate with a view to acquiring it under the Lands for Settlement Act for the purpose of close settlement.
