Magistrate's Court.
Waimate, March 13eii. Before Mr J. Keddell, S.M. FAILING TO CLEAT. OORSE. In Waimate County Council y. H. Dunn, charging him with failing to clear the fjorse off the road fronting his property, Mr Hamilton appeared for plaintiffs. The defence was that ths seed of the gorso had bean brought there in shingle carted on to the road, and not from defendant's land. The case was dismissed with costs, £1 Is. CIVIL CASES. The Magistrate gave his decision in the trustees of the late N. Wall v. J. Moore, claim £IG 12a 6d, value of an express bought by defendant from Mrs Wall, and held to have been wrongly sold to defendant. Judgment was given for defendant, with costs, £5 12s. OLD AGE PENSION COURT. The Court then sat to hear claims for old age pensions. Five old age pension claims were renewed in full ; five renewed at from £7 to £l4 per annum ; two adjourned* till the 27th instant; and one claim discontinued. The Court then rose!
