Sib, —I have a number of letters on the above subject in jour paper, both for and against, but none of them seem to give any new ideas—they are simply for and against, as the position of the writers happens to be. What we want is Bone legislation that will suit all o : a*sej, so as not only to allow a man fair wages for his work, hut to allow the employer a fair return for his trouble and expense, not to mention the risk of losses, which never seam to be taken into account.—l. am, etc., Employer.
