TUESDAY, JULY 10TH. (Before the Rev. Geo. Barclay, J.P.) Two first offenders arrested on Monday in Manse street, for drunkenness, pleaded guilty and were each fined ss, or in default twenty-four hours. A man arrested in Queen street at about 10.30 on Monday night pleaded guilty to the charge of drunkenness, and was fined ss, or in default twentyf)ur hours. John Henry was charged with unlawfully trying to rescue a prisoner from the police. Accused pleaded guilty and Was fined £l. The Bench pointed out the gravity of the offence, and told accused that he was liable to a fine of £2O, or in default three months’ hard labour. The fine in each case was forthcoming- ,
