RSDCLIFF BACHELOR’S BALL.

This event took plate in the Knoolhouse on Friday, and despite the rough weather over forty couples Resented themselves to “ trip the ight fantastic.” The grand march tuk place at 8 p.ra. led off by Mr F. leddes and Miss Aiming. Mr John Will made a competent M.G., and fare every satisfaction. The music Was provided by Messrs W. Bain and H Leonard. Pipers Fincllayson and Beddes assisting at intervals. The school was nicely decorated and well lighted, while the varied Costumes of Ihe ladies made up a picture at once Hetty and pleasing. Mr Gecldes, the ion. sec., was in evidence as doing his Almost—with the co operation of the lommittee—to make the function the Access it proved.
