The half-yearly meeting of the Court Foresters' Pride was held J« the Foresters' Hall, Waimate, *m Friday evening, the officers present being:— D.C.R. Bro. Wv Miller; 5.D.C.8., Bro. KJ. A±wili; D.RBro. P. Grant; auditor, Bro. Pr&fct; delegates, Bros. Burford, Mqßride, and Pratt from Court 3023; Bros. Hopkins and Stowell, Court. '6782; Bro. Hiorns, Court 6073, and a large number of brethren, froni Court Foresters* Pride. +

Tho circular requested the members to use their besV endeavour to raise the membership to 1,000,000 duriag the year in honour of the new c mtury. Bro. F. W. Pratt read the auditor's report and balance-sheet, and congratulated the brethren on these. No death claims had Been sent in during the past six months. Considerable discussion took place on several Questions affecting the welfare of the Courts, an>l it was decided that the notice of the trustees of the various Courts should ba dmwnio the Compensav tion for as it may seriously affeai the funds pf the Courts. ■-■•-•-•
