A special meeting was held last evening * to-, consider the question of the borough being Included in the Harbour district. H» Worship the Mayor (fcfr John Manchester) presided, and tbe/e were preset** Crs» Coltman, Inkster, Sinclair and F.efiman. Apologies wepe"' received from Crs. Jones and Btrchenen The minutes of last meeting were read aud confirmed. The Inspector of Nuisances waited on the Cbancil to aßk if a night Watchman were needed at the scene of the fire. Finally ifc to in* struct the BorflftgS prepare, for circulation amongst the burgesses, a protest against the extreme injustice of the pro-posed'-Bill to include Waiuiate Borough in Hdtbour Board- district.
