Three cheers for theGovernor and' contingents having been given, "the contingents and volunteer* the i Garrison, City, Pipe and District;Bauds marched to the 2ealandia Hall, where Juncheon Was in readiness. The toast of the Fourth and Fifth was proposed by Mr. Hanan, M.H It» and responded to by Colonel ttyvisi . During the afternooivth'e went to the Queen's Park, where bis Excellency distributed their medals, witnessed a parade and . march past, and a programme of military sports. . The troopers were afterwards takejr off by hostesses to tea. In the evena conversazione was held, and a toroblight procession passed through the principal streets. ~ :
At a meeting of the local Reception, Committee last evening it was decided to give a reception to the Waiuiaie troops on Wednesday, a social to follow later on.
