The Chairman said Miss Beckett, after completing three months' probation, declined. It was suggested re-advertise-ment, but Mr Walker thought tho matter should rest with the other, applicants. It was decided to offer the post of nuree to Miss Dixon. Dr Barclay reported having, in Australia, looked for a chair Suitable for a memorial chair, and was unable to get anything suitable. thing satisfactory. Dr Macgreg; r visited during the month and was very pleased with the institution. It was decided to have the fever ward and out-bnildings painted, also to ask the Telephone Bureau for a better receiver. Messrs Atwiil and Sinclair were appointed visitors for the month. Accounts amounting to LIDS f)S 10d were passed.
