CLARKESFIELD.
Everything in connection with this new settlement is looking very bright. •Two bouses have been erected and another is going up shortly. Already .a large number -o£ sheep have been placed on the various sections, and the .gettleraseem very well Batisaed with .their sections and the way their sheep are thriving. Several complaints have Ibeen made about the disturbing of sheep by shooting parties, with the .l'eault that -several settlers are nofc - allowing sportsmen to shoot on their t runs now.
