FORESTRY.

The quarterly meeting of Court Foresters' Pride was held last evening, Bro C. M. Wilson presiding over a meeting of about 40 members. The woodwards' report showed fivo members declared off the funds since last meeting, leaving three still on the funds. Correspondence was read from the Distiict Secretary, advising a meeting on Thursday, ! 11th January. In consequence of an accident to one of the delegates, Bro. T. Brown Was appointed in his place. ' From the Patriotic Fund Committee, asking the Foresters to take part in the grand maich. The secretary advised having accepted the invitation on behalf of the lodge, and his action was approved. It was resolved to give a donation of £2 2* to the fund. From Court Concord, Greymouth, forwarding members' contributions. It was decided to pay half cost of band at late sports. Th« new Committee of Management of Juvenile Lodge was appointed as follows : —Bros. Berry, . Grant, Wilson, Hiorns, and At will. One new member was initiated into the Order. Accounts and sick pay t mounting to over £47 were passed for payment, and receipts were £55. Before closing tho Court, members were particularly requested ono and all to meet at 7 p.m. sharp and attend the demonstration to-day.
