ODDFELLOWSHIP.
The fortnightly meeting of Loyal Heart of Friendship Lodge was held last evening. Bro. A. Jackson, the newly-elected N.G , occupied the chair, and all officer's were present. Correspondenoe was read from Hand and Heart Loyal Lodges, Dunedin, Levin, Ashburton and Christchurch Lodges, D.R, and P.G.M. Bro. Asquith. The sick visitors reported that were no fresh members on the sick list. Sick pay for £2 was passed. The quarterly accounts amounting to £24 Sb 6d were passed for payment. Bros Smith and H. Watts, P.GM.'s, were appointed auditors. After discussion it was unanimously resolved to keep Bros. J. Goldstone and W. Butcher " financial " on the books of the Lodge while with the contipgmt in the Transvaal. It was agreed that the members join in the Patriotic Fund procession this evening. The first, second and third sentiments having been proposed and responded to, the lodge went into harmony, and a number of patriotic songs were sung with enthusiasm. The receipts for the evening were £32 8s Hd.
