Monday, June 25.

Drunk and Disorderly. — Charles Cramer and George Beland were both fined 5s for being drunk, and 15s for disorderly conduct, or in default 48 hours imprisonment with hard labor. A further charge of assaulting the police was made against Beland who was fined for that offence £2, or in' default four days' imprisonment with hard labor. LxiNAcr. — Peter Connelly, charged by Sergeant Slattery with being of unsound mind, was remanded until the 27th inst for medical examination.

Dm/me and iNCArAur-B. — Samuel Hall and Charlos Blake were fined ss, or in default 24 hours imprisonment with hard labor.

Breach op the Steam Navigation Act.— John~"TJeeves, John Fennell and William Shepherd were charged by George Harper, the purser of the steamer Bruce, with obtaining a passage by that steamer from Okarita to Ilokitika, and refusing to pay for the dame. They were ordered (o pay £6 each to the owners of the Bruce, or in default, to be imprisoned JEor seven days. Charles Walker aud Robert Meade, on remand from the 23rd iust, charged with being reputed thieves frequenting a public place with intent to commit a felony, failing to produce witnesses as to charac'.ev, for which purpose they had been remanded on the 23rd inst, were both ordered to find sureties for their good behaviour for thrco months ; themselves in .t'fiO aud two sureties in £25 each. Tho Court was then adjourned until cloven o'clock to-day.
