HIGHER EXPENDITURE IN EIRE
DUBLIN, Feb. 26. The Eire estimates of expenditure for 1939-40 show a total of £30,248,897, an increase of £386,996, and including an additional vote of £1,256,515 for the army in order to meet the provisions of the Defence Bill.
