/ARMED ROBBER SENTENCED. Received Feb. 28, 5.5 p.m. SYDNEY, Feb. 28. Jack Mo.nford Adams, aged 20, was sentenced to seven years’ imprisonment for the armed robbery of a postal official at Bondi. The Bondi postmaster, Robert Wilson, had drawn £766 from the bank on September 22 and was returning to his post office to pay old age pensions when an armed youth thrust a revolver into his stomach a.nd ordered him to drop the bag. Wilson, completely flabbergasted, complied, and the youth disappeared with the money.
