INCREASED WEIGHT FOR NEWMARKET SYDNEY. Feb. 27. The New Zealand filly. Disdain, has been penalised 41b. in the Newmarket Handicap, and her weight is now 8.4. New Zealanders’ weights for the Flemington Brunswick Stakes are: Stretto 9.3, Bankshaw 7.8, Limuiet 7.8. Pharaoh 7.0. A decision regarding Ajax’s running in the King’s Cup will be made on Thursday. Scratchings in the Newmarket Handicap are: Regular Bachelor, Cassio. King's Cup: The Trump. Ajax and High Caste, doing striding work at Caulfield to-day, looked well.
