FORDELL WOMEN’S INSTITUTE
The Fordell Women's Institute held an outdoor meeting on February 21, at the home of Mrs. G. W. Lewis. A pleasant time was spent amig the gardens, the dahlia beds attracting special admiration. A delightful afternoon tea was served, the hostesses being Mesdames Kingston, Morgan, Treewick, and Misses Sutherland and Barnes. Good business was done on the "bring-and-buy" stall for institute funds.
Competitions results were as follows:—Prettiest table centre, Miss N. Christie 1, Mrs. R. Campbell 2. Zinnias (6>, Mrs. Lee 1, Mrs. Christie 2. The lucky parcel, given by a new member, was won by Baby Gemmill, the youngest child present. Hostesses for next meeting are Mesdames Gemmill, Aiken, Lloyd and Misses Lloyd and Bailey.
