DOCTOR’S CAR STOLEN
PARKED OUTSIDE HOSPITAL RECOVERED NEAR PALMERSTON NORTH (Own Correspondent.) TAIHAPE, Feb. 27. Parked outside the Ruanui Hospital, Taihape, at about 11 o'clock last night (Sunday), Dr. D. L. Sinclair’s sedan car was removed while he was attending a patient in the hospital The car contained a case of medical instruments and when the doctor emerged from the hospital about 11.30 p.m. there was no sign of the car. The police and Station 2YA Wellington were notified of the theft and a description of the missing car was broadcast early this morning. The car was recovered near Palmerston North, where it had been left abandoned, after the benzine supply had become exhausted. The vehicle was not damaged and the case of medical instruments was intact.
