CONFECTIONER’S SHOP BROKEN INTO MONEY TAKEN FROM TILL (Own Correspondent) TAIHAPE, Feb. 27. The premises of Misses Addis were broken into last night (Sunday) and the sum of 10s was removed from the till. Entrance was gained by forcing the back door. The till contained 10s Jd, but the thief was considerate enough to leave the halfpenny. It is reported that none of the stock is missing, and the person responsible for the burglary was after money and not sweets. The matter has been reported to the police.
