CENTRE FULL RINK COMPETITIONS SATURDAY'S RESULTS Fine weather prevailed on Saturday for play in full rink competition matches at. the various Wanganui bowling greens.

St. John's Bowling Club played full rink competition games on Saturday under ideal conditions, the greens being keen, and the absence of wind a very welcome feature. Competition games were advanced a further stage under ideal conditions, on the Gonville green on Saturday Considering that some of the members are absent on holidays and also because there were counter-attrac-tions, the attendance was well up to standard. Next Saturday being the Returned Soldiers’ Day on St. John’s green there will be no club competitions on. the Wanganui East green, but in place there will be two tournaments, the first at 9 a.m. and the second at 1.30 p.m. Both are open to any bowlers to take part. A small entrance fee will be charged to each tournament. Tea will be provided to any staying for lunch.
