SCHOOL PICNIC
OUTING AT RANGIWAHIA (Own Correspondent.) RANGIWAHIA, Feb. 22. The annual school picnic was held on the Domain on Saturday last, when there was a large attendance of parents and others to witness a varied and interesting programme despatched in record time. Before adjourning for afternoon tea, the chairman, Mr. W. E. Boshier, thanked all who had helped make the picnic the success it was. He also introduced Mr. and Mrs. Mills and Mr. and Mrs. Meiklejohn to the gathering. Mr. Mills, headmaster, asked for the co-operation of parents in matters pertaining to the school, as there was a good deal of spade work to be done on account of the changes in staff in the last few years. He also asked for the support of the people of: the district for the secondary department, as in Mr. Meiklejohn they had a teacher who was fully qualified to give the pupils sound instruction in the two courses available.
