LEARN-TO-SWIM CAMPAIGN

PROGRAMME FOR TO-NIGHT AT WAVERLEY (Own Correspondent). WAVERLEY, Feb. 20. In connection with the national ‘‘Learn-to-Swim Week” and "Health and Physical Fitness Campaign,” the following events will be swum at the Waverley baths this (Tuesday) evening, commencing at 7 o’clock, when admission will be free:—Learners’ race, one width; boys under 12, 25 yards; girls under 12, 25 yards; boys under 15, 25 yards; girls under 15, 25 yards; junior boys’ handicap, 25 yards; men’s breaststroke, 50 yards; ladies’ freestyle, 50 yards; exhibition swimming; exhibition life-saving; dive; men’s freestyle. 100 vards; water polo (juniors).
