ANNUAL MEETING FLOURISHING CONDITION REPORTED. (Own Correspondent.) PATEA, Feb. 18. Rev. Father Rohan presided at the annual meeting of the Patea and District Schools A.A.A. last Wednesday cVening and extended a welcome to the newly appointed, teachers. The annual report stated that affairs of the association were in a flourishing condition, the credit balance being £22 16s 3d, against £ll 19s Id the previous year. A midget competition had been inaugurated by the Patea Club and further support from the country centres would be welcomed. Under the present system of working, the original constitution of the association was of little use. Many alterations had been made from time to time and these were hard to trace through the minutes.
