Racing at Warwick Farm on Saturday Waireka, by the Limond site Waikare, recorded a hollow victory by three lengths in the Ingleburn Nursery Handicap, despite an outside barrier position, equalling the track record for 54 furlongs in 67sec. The consistent horse Red Sails won the Warwick February Handicap, in which Golden Treasure was unplaced. Linklet was unplaced in the Minto Handicap.
