MANGAWEKA NOTES
YOUNG FARMERS’ CLUB (Own Correspondent.) MANGAWEKA, Feb. 16. A very enthusiastic and well attended meeting of the Young Farmers’ Club was held on Tuesday, February 7. The meeting was held to elect officers and to discuss general business. It was decided to try and get someone along to the next meeting t give a lecture on "How to conduct a meeting." The officers elected are as follows. Advisory president. Mr. G. Bromley; chairman. P. Green; secretary, J. Reilly; treasurer, E. Oulsnam. A committee of five was elected as follows: M. Gardiner, L. Ritchie, J. Armstrong, W. Hamilton, and T. Green. At the close of the meeting the secretary was asked to write and thank the Mangaweka Farmers' Union for helping to start the Young Farmers’ Club. The next meeting of the Young Farmers’ Club will be held on March 7.
