Forty prominent members of the German minority in Poland have been arrested on charges of high treason in forming a military organisation, secret drilling and anti-Polish progaganda aimed at the return of western provinces to Germany. Those arrested include leaders of German organisations and sports clubs. The German Ambassador's protest has been rejected.
